COMPANY STORY

Our name says it all — Full Health Clarity. We want every person who undergoes a procedure to have full clarity about what device or devices were implanted or revised, and to be able to over time, track what happened afterwards, and what is the outcome from that procedure.

Full Health Clarity was founded in 2023 on a bold patient-first mission: to solve the toughest problem in medical-device management by tracking every device directly to the patient who receives it.

In 1990, the United States Congress passed The Safe Medical Devices Act of 1990 (SMDA) — Public Law 101-629, enacted November 28, 1990 — added the federal device-tracking mandate for certain devices, requiring manufacturers to be able to trace them all the way to the end patient.

With the development of wide scale digital infrastructure and easier exchange of healthcare data, we believe it is now possible to gain industry alignment with the goal of validating and verifying every device throughout the device lifecycle. We recognized from day one that true patient safety and better outcomes depend on a full solution to the intractable problem of actually knowing, for every patient, procedure, and medical device, what happened, and what is the outcome?

Inspired by the promise of the FDA’s Unique Device Identifier (UDI) system to improve care, we built our VERA™ platform from the ground up around patient-level traceability.

This patient-centered foundation creates an end-to-end solution spanning from the moment a device arrives in inventory, through surgery, and into post-operative monitoring.

By making detailed, real-time device and procedure data accessible to caregivers, we give clinicians unparalleled transparency and proactive insight. With these insights “accessible, allowing for insights that will transform patient outcomes,” care teams can ensure the right device is used for the right patient at the right time.

In this way, Full Health Clarity brings a new standard of safety and innovation to healthcare: empowering providers with clarity and empowering patients with better, more personalized care.
